At the Fair

​

I grew up in New Jersey and have lived in New England for many years. Fairs and traveling carnivals are weekly events during the summer and fall. Go to any small town and follow the signs.

These are fleeting places filled with color, noise and motion: the blur of a rollercoaster, the cacophony of tilt-a-whirls, the barking of game vendors and the sizzling of fried dough.
